Have you ever wondered about the legacy?
Your written words will leave behind
For those gifted with prose who write so graciously
Ideas are formed within the heart to stimulate the mind

Like an artist who paints, a cantor who sings
A player of musical notes resounding with magical chimes
Brings a sparkle of delight much as regal kings
Convey to their kingdoms with rhyme

Much can be said of the gifts received
Dispensed at the moment of life
Molded with love so well conceived
Upon the traveled byways paved in the ways of strife

Not all will realize the treasures held within the soul
Some will end the trip, without utilizing their gifts
While others will leave lasting memories so fruitful and bold
To those who'll share the essence in this wayward drift

I say it's been an honor to read and hear your starlit dreams
For you convey within your thoughts the way it ought to be
The words you leave behind will light the dark between the seams
Imparting everlasting marks engraved for all to read, hear and believe

Voyage of Love

In the voyage of love amid a sea of near calm
There echoes a melody we have long to be near
It comes inside the dew, within the twilight of time
Sounds from a love bird which sings without fear

It whispers of friendship you have given to me
For all the years shared united as one
In hard times more often then not, we had to agree
To settle our differences much work without fun

Nevertheless, thru it all we have come to belong
Sharing in life as a good husband and wife
As we reach the end of our journey we hear the sweet songs
From the heavenly birds which bring the sweetness of life

Look ahead my soul mate no tears will be cried
For the best is not over in our search for the end
Prepare to debark we will say no good-byes
For the quest in this journey, lies without sin
